Simple printed oversized t-shirt made from 95% cotton and 5% elastane. Made in Romania. This t-shirt will never be replicated again. Only one in the world.

The one above, is a short description.

It's not really a simple t-shirt.

That description was for the people that don't really care to see the story behind this garment. A lot of people see just a classic, oversized t-shirt with a nice, colorful print on it.

But, this clothing piece holds a greater story, it's not something classic that you can buy anywhere. First of all, it's not mass produced, we didn't call up a factory in China and ordered 10.000 t-shirts, all the same. We preferred to keep it exclusive, a garment that really shows how unique it is by being the only one in the world.

And let's not forget, that these 8 t-shirts took us about 4 to 5 months to make, because we care a lot more about quality and choosing the materials ourselves. We collaborated with artisans and small, local tailors to create something unique. We went to every place physically to observe and help at every step when these garments were made, we made multiple tests and we came up with a winner, the t-shirt that you see now, on our website.

We took the time to experiment with multiple materials for our garments and we found out that this mix of 95% cotton and 5% elastane offers the best comfort, durability, drape and also, because of this mix, they hardly get wrinkled.

Also, you may ask, why did we choose this material. You'll say: “But… the premium brands, use only cotton in their t-shirts…”. I agree with you, they use cotton, but not because it's really the best, it's just an industry standard which cemented itself in the modern fashion industry. And, you don't need to blame anyone for it, it's just that the big brands are scared to experiment because they know that the customers won't buy anymore from them if they see a mix of materials. People, when they don't see 100% cotton, they think that it's lower quality. But at Serban, we wanted to experiment and cross this industry standard by showing that it's possible to make a better t-shirt by not respecting these classic standards. We are not scared to be different.

From Serban you don't buy the name, you buy quality and attention to detail, you buy a story.
